Two Hummingbirds
Collected by Julia Averkieva from the Kwakwaka'wakw (Kwakiutl) of Vancouver Island, Canada. According to legend, when someone purifies himself by bathing, hummingbirds cover his body and suck his blood as part of the ritual.

Step 5 - L3, from the far side and from below, removes the R3 loop, then R3, passing to the far side of upper and lower L3f, hooks these strings to the right; 3 picks up oblique 1n, drawing it through the 3 loops, which slip off as 3 returns to an upright position. |
