A contemporary string figure created by Kazuo Kamiya of Saitama, Japan. Its method of construction is easy to remember because of four successive "Double Navajo" movements.

Double Navajo the loops on 1; extend loosely. With the help of the R hand withdraw L5 from its loop and reinsert it from the opposite side, pressing the tip of L5 against the L palm to secure the loop; repeat using opposite hands. Extend loosely with 1 pointing up and forearms pointing away; use 2 and 3 of each hand to evenly distribute the central loops, then extend fully to reveal the final pattern. You have "Two Dogs" shown in profile with heads pointing in opposite directions. |
