Celtic Tapestry

An unnamed contemporary string figure created by Joseph Ornstein of New York, New York. Here we call it "Celtic Tapestry" because the small intricate design in the center resembles a traditional celtic lover's knot.

Step 8 - Pass 2 and 4 toward the center over the double palmar strings and insert these fingers, from above, into their own loops.

Release double loops from 1 and 5 and extend the figure on hooked 2 and 4, pulling the double palmar strings in opposite directions so that the single loops on the backs of 2 and 4 slip off; rotate 2 toward you and up to reveal the design.

Arrange as needed to create symmetry.
