Bridge Series

Collected by Will Wirt from the people of Lhasa, Tibet. The Bridge Series consists of seven figures: Bridge, Turtle, Rubber Band, Fish, Chopsticks, Scissors, and Umbrella.

Step 9 - Release the R2-R3 loop, allowing it to hang down along the left palm.

The two strings of the hanging loop pass through a short loop formed by the L2n and L3f strings; the continuation of the near hanging string is an L1n string whereas the continuation of the far hanging string is an L5f string.

Pass R2 and R3 through the hanging loop, then with R2 hook down the L1n string described above, and with R3 hook down the L5f string described above, drawing both through the hanging loop, which gets absorbed as the figure is extended.

Repeatedly separate and bring together R2 and R3 to simulate the snipping of "Scissors".
