Collected by Guy Mary-Rousselière from the Inuit (Eskimo) people of Pelly Bay, Nunavut, Canada. The native name for this figure is aksatquligaciaq ("He who has upper arms").

Step 5 - Pass 5 toward you under intervening strings and press its palmar surface against the far side of 1n.

With the help of the opposite hand lift the 5 loop up and over the segment of 1n that crosses 5, and release it on the far side of 5; when you are finished, press 5 against the palm to secure the new 5 loop.

Release the loop on 1 and extend so that two "legs" form.
