Collected by Guy Mary-Rousselière from the Inuit (Eskimo) people of Pelly Bay, Nunavut, Canada. The native name for this figure is aksatquligaciaq ("He who has upper arms").

Step 6 - Three horizontal strings form the upper border of the figure, one being a transverse upper 2n string. Pass L1 over the central segment of upper 2n and pick up the other two strings that form the upper border.
Using the back of 3 push the "legs" closer together. With the help of the opposite hand Navajo the loops on 2 (lift the lower loop over the upper loop and release it). |
