Two UFOs

A contemporary string figure created in 1981 by Yukio Shishido of Kyoto, Japan. A new ending ("Light trail left by two speeding UFOs" followed by "Two UFOs disappear") was added by the creator in 2012.

 Step 3 - 2 hooks transverse 5n (which runs to opposite 5) toward you to make 5f strings more accessible.

3 picks up oblique 5f (which runs to opposite 1), then 3 passes over and behind transverse 5f (which runs to opposite 5); hooked 2 releases it string, then hooked 3 rotates toward you and up with transverse 5f (oblique 5f slips off in the process).

Release 5 loops.

5, from below, removes 3 loop; extend.

2 catches nearest palmar knot and drags it toward the palm of the same hand.
