Two UFOs

A contemporary string figure created in 1981 by Yukio Shishido of Kyoto, Japan. A new ending ("Light trail left by two speeding UFOs" followed by "Two UFOs disappear") was added by the creator in 2012.

 Step 6 - Partially dissolve the figure as follows:

R2, from the far side, picks up the center segment of 1n; L1 releases its loop and removes the upper R2 loop from above; R1 releases its loop and enters the L1 loop from below.

Extend partially with fingers pointing away from you; release the remaining 2 loop and extend fully.
