Flint and Steel (variation with 3 diamonds)
A contemporary variation by Joseph D'Antoni of New York. It is based on a traditional two-diamond figure from the Caroline Islands called "Flint and Steel". Like the original, it requires a cross-arm extension.

Step 4 - 1, over intervening strings, picks up 5f and returns. Opposite hand picks up the 3n string (close to 3), draws it toward you over 1, and releases it on the upper near side of 1. |
