Earrings

Collected by George Byron Gordon from the Yup'ik people of Mamtrelich, a small village near the mouth of the Kuskokwim River in southwest Alaska. Eskimo (Inuit) women traditionally wore dangling earrings that were made of carved bone or ivory.
