Eye of the Bay Duiker
Collected by Günter Tessmann from the Fang people of Cameroon. Duikers (pronounced "DIKE-ers") are small, shy, nocturnal antelopes found in the dense forests of west-central Africa.

You have a double-walled diamond that represents the large, almond-shaped eye of the "Bay Duiker" (Cephalophus dorsalis). Although not shown here, this figure is followed by five other designs that include "Eye of Peters' Duiker" and "Eye of the White-bellied Duiker".
