Laundry on a Clothesline
Collected by Thomas T. Paterson from the Inuit of Upernavik, Greenland. Danish settlers have been living among the Inuit of Greenland for over 200 years. As a result, it is not uncommon to find traditional Inuit string figures that have been renamed to represent items imported from Europe.

Step 6 - 1 and 3 tease open the small tight loop that surrounds 5n and 5f, arranging it so that the near string of the tight loop is close to the palm and the far string is close to the center of the figure.
1 enters the tight loop from the near side, passes between 5n and 5f, and picks up the far string of the tight loop. |
